Facing the tranquil waters of southern Lake Kivu, Emeraude Kivu Resort offers a spectacular option for those wishing to explore the lake and further afield to Nyungwe National Park. The lesser-visited southern waters of Lake Kivu are scattered with small forest islands against the stunning, green backdrop of Democratic Republic of the Congo. 

Emeraude Kivu Resort is an excellent base for travelers as they visit Nyungwe National Park or track chimpanzees in Cyamudongo. The resort currently features 28 executive rooms, 4 suites and 1 family room.
